Where high surface coverage is needed, the BW 197 DH-5 speeds up the rolling process significantly. Typical applications are, for example, car parks, building foundations, access- and exit roads on motorways, minor roads, as well as forest- and agricultural roads.
The Ecomode function, which comes as standard, ensures automatic speed control and significantly reduces the fuel consumption of the high-torque engine.
The optional Ecostop function, which switches off the engine automatically after a defined time of idling, prevents unnecessary fuel consumption in addition. This is efficiency which pays quickly in terms of shorter construction times and lower costs.
Of course the BW 197 DH-5 with the Stage 4/ TIER 4 final engine meets highest emission legislation.
Up to 56 % gradients
The innovative dual circuit drive system with twin pumps for the front and rear axle provides optimum traction. This enables the machine to overcome obstacles effortlessly and climb gradients of up to 56 % forwards as well as backwards.
